DRIVERS that get up earlier than every one else in the morning. Getting ready to get all their fellow humans to their own jobs, airplanes, real homes after the party is over. There are the ones that never sleep at night. Making sure to take your drunk ass home, or help you go help your friend that is having a panic attack at 3:00am. There are the ones that work long hours up in the blazing sun and are patient with all the circumstances around them such as traffic, tempers, extreme weather conditions, woman giving birth or emergency situations, picking up people in the middle of nowhere and taking them further than any Taxis have dared to go before. There are drivers helping your mother and grandma get the groceries, calling them to ask them if a different brand of chips is ok for themselves, their children and grandchildren, and helping them carry groceries in and out of the car. There are drivers that assist nurses with critically ill or elderly patients and get them safely to their destination. And all of this, ON TIME. To those DRIVERS I MAKE THE CALL!!!!
RIDERS are the best people in the world. There are workers, people helping out the elderly, real life heroes such as nurses, moms, dads, brothers, sisters, the best groups of friends, amazing singers, musicians, actors, movie directors, writers, and the least goes on and on.... people that share their food with you, invite to dinner parties; they come from all over the world! Russia, Italy, Mexico, Venezuela, South Korea, Belgium, Bali, Indonesia, Japan, Nigeria. People of all sorts of Religious beliefs and a variety of Lifestyles that I'm still getting my mind around. People have called 911 in my car to report a homeless guy that looked dead on the side of the road. Riders from England, Australia, Ethiopia, Kazakistan, El Salvador, Taiwan; with accents that baffle my senses and got me learning Mandarin on Duolingo. There are people that tip in money, pizza, tacos, booze, perriers, invite you to their Proffesional Music Studios. Some of them have even tried to adopt my dog Culver haha! RIDERS ARE AWESOME!! I take them to Sports Events, Music Events, Amazing Restaurants, All Sorts of Neighborhoods like Belaire, Compton, Eagle Rock, San Diego, Joshua Tree (Which was 3.5 Hrs). It's always exciting to have new RIDERS in my car!
How do you see yourself? Are you a Driver, or a Rider? Do you mostly seat at the wheel or are you on the backseat getting ready for what's next? Or even better, do you like to seat infront as a Co-Pilot!!?
Do not feel pressured by the differences. I'am a DRIVER....most of the time. But sometime I do become a RIDER and it's marvelous. The feeling of having someone take me in their own car and let go of control. Knowing that I can trust him/her to take me to where I requested to go. To ask questions from this new standpoint and enjoy the same service but as a completely new experience.
I will now ask you again. ARE YOU A DRIVER, OR A RIDER? What kind of DRIVER are you? What kind of RIDER are you? Get my E-Book and send us your Story!
