Chriswells78, u have the same attitude i do, infact im new here, and have no experience, but im 200% more productive then average. Some weeks even higher. But my boss still doesnt cut me any breaks.

Infact on the subject of phone calls, theres a older lady, who has two adult aged kids, and they call her everyday. Not on break. She gets up and talks to them for 15-20 mins at a time. last week she turned me in for texting while i was on the clock.

Noobs always get fawked with. You are a threat to the system for the old folks. I got this a lot too when I started here. Fortunately, our accounting system tracks everything we do, production wise. They see what I turn out and never give me any hassle.

Tell ya what, If I wanted to smoke, we still have an area at work to do it, but smokers can't smoke within 25 feet of a public building entrance, or any entrance the public might have access too.

So now instead of designated smoking areas with ash-trays close to these entrances there is tons of butts lying all over the areas they can only smoke in. -out past the ashtrays.

Where I work there is a deck on the back of our building for smokers to use. My main beef is you could set your watch by these people going out for a smoke.

They don't use thier breaks they just go grab a smoke when the urge hits while non-smokers like me are busting our asses and working while the smokers are basically fucking off.

So yes I favor the complete tobaco ban adamwarner has where he works. It's called a "JOB" for a reason.

I have no problems with people smoking, but it is another thing where people go and smoke on non-standard breaks. That shouldn't be allowed. But smoking on breaks, that should be.
