One post wonders

It just drives me up the wall when someone joins a forum, makes a post on needing help but never comes/replies back.
Then the post gets a barage of replies of help and questions about what they mean exactly.

A lot of times these one post wonders problems are not explained well and could be totally different things.

Example: My Ex won't turn over.
To most this means the starter is not engaging but the poster means it won't start.

I like to help but I refuse to help the helpless

Sometimes I have to wonder if they decided to take it to a mechanic right after they post their question

Maybe it was their first time on a forum, and they didn't know how to check their thread for a response. They might think that answers will be in an email form along with all of their other emails, spam, etc.

no one answered in .04 seconds so they felt as if no one liked them and they left...

Kind of like the people that bump the thread every 5 minutes and then get mad when no one responds...
